Adriana Martin, Adriana’s Best Recipes

I’m a Latina, born in Mexico, immigrant with a story and US citizen as a choice. I’m a wife, friend, step mom, grandmother and an animal lover. My profession is marketing strategist but I’m a chef at heart. I have tremendous respect for food I serve to my family and friends and every day I learn different flavors and tricks to include in my food repertoire.

I love to read about food, recipes, and trends as well as to experience new restaurants and watch famous chefs prepare food, and then I go back to my kitchen and then I start my
cooking adventure.

My recipes are based on inspiration, a flavor, a spice, the smell of fresh fruit or an herb, what I have available in my fridge or simply a walk in the local farmers market to check out the fresh ingredients that will inspire my dish of the day. Really simple flavors can create masterpieces.

My cooking is also inspired by my grandmother’s legacy; when growing up I shared very special moments with my dear grandma Doña Alicia, named by me in a loving way Mamá Licha (Alicia) who taught me the passion for making people happy putting out delicious dishes. She owned several restaurants and catered for the Mexican socialité, great teacher Doña Alicia now my angel companion and to whom I dedicate my recipes.

Let’s cook!
